Notice the pics showing a case of cat food on the scale reading 9. The weighing table measures about 15 x no dents or dings or anything.

The electronics part looks pretty much new and has the clear protective cover included. 4 lbs plus I also confirmed accuracy by comparing this scales weight on packages also matching up exactly when weighed at post office on their scales. Batteries last near forever.

No damage or problems with this just surface scratches on stainless steel weighing table. 40 lbs also shown on another quality scale also showing 9. I have used this for a while and works perfect and accurate. I've only used it with 6 AA batteries not included but has a place to plug in a 9 volt power supply but I've never had a power supply for it or tested with power supply.
