Constructed of extra heavy duty stainless steel, with the electronics sealed in the waterproof main unit, it's made to withstand just about any environment. Sure it's got a few years on it, but it was made when they built things to last, and man is this scale built. Just zero it empty and it's a standard scale.

There's a few dings, the biggest of which can be seen on the platform, a couple of screws need replacing and it could use a more thorough cleaning, please see pics.
